1 of 50 Reasons Not to Vote for Obama

Obama flip-flopped on the debt ceiling vote.

I didn't raise taxes

"I didn't raise taxes once, I lowered taxes over the last two years."

President Barack Obama, 2.6.11

It would appear the phrase "I didn't raise taxes" would be crystal clear, and certainly when said by the president stated it, everyone could be confident of its meaning. However, this statement must mean something different to Barack Obama.

Americans are aware when the cost of something goes up. When something costs more due to a change in taxes, Americans call this a tax increase.  Seems simple enough.

Innaction on Immigration

”But what I can guarantee is that we will have in the first year an immigration bill that I strongly support and that I'm promoting.“

Candidate Barack Obama

As the walking embodiment of the American melting pot and covetous of votes from America's increasing minority population, Candidate Obama came out strongly in favor of comprehensive immigration reform.

Obama Lied about the Deficit

"What my budget does is…that by the middle of this decade our annual spending will match our annual revenues. We will not be adding more to the national debt."

Candidate Barack Obama

Regardless of their political affiliation, Americans are increasingly concerned with the massive deficit spending in Washington and the accompanying national debt load. Aware of the impact such an approach would have on their own personal budgets, Americans realize that such an approach to finance is not indefinitely sustainable.
