Obama flip-flopped on the debt ceiling vote.

As a senator and candidate for president, Obama viciously attacked Republicans and the establishment for their "failures to lead." Perhaps, this is no more evident on than in the case of the national debt.

America is in a tragic situation and we - readers, voters, her citizens - are responsible. We've allowed our gluttony and economic arrogance to create a situation where 40 cents on every dollar our government spends is debt we've borrowed. That's a stunning reversal of our balance sheet for one generation.
